Frozen Food Festival

The Daughters of Isabella present the 3rd Annual Frozen Food Festival on Saturday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or until the food is gone.) All proceeds will benefit Saint Joseph Abbey flood relief efforts.

The festival takes place at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, located at 444 Metairie Road.

Members of the Daughters of Isabella have cooked their special dishes and packed and frozen them so you can take them home and heat them up. Enjoy delicious dinners without all the hard work - just heat and eat!

Soups, appetizers and sides: Stuffed bell peppers, tamales, chicken andouille gumbo, vegetable soup, taco soup, broccoli casserole, strong bean and artichoke casserole and more.

Entrees: Crawfish etouffe', red beans and rice, pasta jambalaya, spaghetti and meat balls, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, smothered pork chops and more.

Desserts: chocolate cake, bread pudding, scones, brownies, fudge and more.

Flood Relief Silent Auction and Lunch

On Sunday, May 15, following the 10 a.m. mass, a flood relief silent auction and lunch will be held for Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College. The lunch is $10. Items for the Abbey's gift shop will also be sold at the event.
