that your Giving WILL Benefit

Giving is a response to God's prompting and comes from a heart filled with gratitude. When you think of your relationship with Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College, is there a particular on-going program or need that you might want to support?  Please see below for some suggestions.

Regular and Special Appeals (you can go to "Make a Gift Now",  at bottom)

Opportunities are always available to donate by mail or online to our annual appeals for the Monastery (Abbey General Fund; St. Benedict, All Souls and Christmas Appeals) and to the Seminary College (Seminary General Fund, Saint Joseph Day Appeal and the Alumni Fund). Sometimes, as needs arise, Special Appeals are added.

Support the  Saint Joseph Abbey Monks
For the monks' health, retirement, and education needs.  Gifts may be given for immediate use, or restricted to special endowed funds for the long-term benefit of the monks.

In addition, operational expenses, renovation and capital improvement of the monastery building are all ongoing expenses. The monks work by the labor of their hands and bring in revenue from their various apostolates.  Industrious and ingenious in their endeavors, the monks operate a casket company, a cemetery, a gift shop, monk soap production, a retreat house, a bread program and the four year liberal arts seminary college.
