Gary Ault is a 1964 graduate of Saint Joseph Seminary. He went on to earn a Master's from Notre Dame Seminary and was a priest with the Archdiocese of New Orleans and a member of the Dameans music group. In his second year as religion coordinator and religion teacher at Saint Charles Catholic High School, Ault brings with him more than 29 years of experience. He teaches New Testament and Sacraments classes to sophomore students. Outside of his classroom duties, Ault is the moderator for the music ministry and works in campus ministry, coordinating all liturgies and religious celebrations. "I hope to enable students to recognize their unique gifts and value as persons and to challenge them to grow. Within my classroom, I hope that students are able to share their faith, their gifts and their lives with others."
When asked about the video, Gary reports: "I just took it (the films) to Walgreen's and they had it done in about three weeks. It was a whole bunch of family films that I was able to edit the Saint Ben clips from. It took a lot of effort and I was getting tired of it, but I can't believe the response from people - well worth the effort. I'm just glad people are enjoying it.
"I do not vouch for content, editing or quality of what's included. Maybe it will provide at least 13 minutes of a glimpse of what we shared as a class. Esse quam videri!"
